Estrella was the last team to qualify, however it doesn't make them less of a team to hold the title. The "Orange Power of Santa Cruz" has been playing the Russian roulette these last couple of games and until now they have escaped harmless.
In a good game against Bubali the team left Bubali on the field with a 3-2 result and now the team of Marco "Njaks" Rasmijn feels very reassured of the team and sees various positive changes in the team's play of the game.

The adquisition of Venezuelan players Mavares and Jimenez has had a great influence on the team and now everyone wants to perform at that level. Estrella is a team that is always playoff ready and history is a witness of that fact.This time around the team will depend on Mairon Lopez Gutierrez and Annuar Kock to lead the attack. Together with Jimenez they will have to produce the goals the team needs. Captain Ikel Lopez and Mavarez will have to bring stability in the defense and Alex "Power Ranger" Hassel will bring the experience in the middle of the field.

Estrella does not play a beautiful game but opts to play a game of setting the pressure on the opposite team. The unknown for Estrella is the goalkeeper. Until now Carlos Geerman has been tremendous in the goal for Estrella and sometimes with lots of luck. Always standing in the right place at the right time to save some timely goals. Nobody really knows the type of milk Geerman is drinking but Njaks and all the fans hope he keeps it going these playoffs.

The advantage Estrella has is his fan base. In the past the fans have responded in numbers when the team reaches the playoff and the excitement they bring is contagious. Estrella reached the finals two years ago where they lost agains rivals Britannia. This year head coach Njaks Rasmijn is convinced that his team will triumph and in his own words: "This is going to be a though playoff, however looking at the level of play of Estrella, I'm convinced we will triumph." And he send this message to the other teams: "When the others believe they are at the top, Estrella would already be flying high as a bird with the championship cup.

Estrella makes their debut tonight against the defending champions RCA!
