ESTRELLA HOPE TO CONTINUE WONDER WEEK

ORANJESTAD- The clubs with more titles to their name are set to square of tonight in Compleho Deportivo Guillermo Prospero Trinidad. SV Dakota holds 15 Division di Honor titles while Estrella has 12 titles. Can a derby between these two teams decide who will make the playoffs this year? Victory over Estrella would keep the playoff hope alive for Dakota. Victory over Dakota would see Estrella sitting in the forth and final playoff spot with only two games left of the regular season.

Of the two, Dakota should go into the match feeling fresher, though perhaps only in the physical sense. Beating the current champions and first place team RCA last Sunday can only lift a mental state as compared to a draw at the hands of Caravel.

Dakota, often painted by their fans as an elite team, was shocked that a supposedly inferior team frustrated them. Caravel managed to play to their level and obtained a draw.

Estrella scored in the dying seconds of the game against RCA, their heroic rearguard efforts against RCA merited their desire to make to playoffs. With their head coach Niaks Rasmijn suspended for this game, Estrella would be lead on the sidelines by Roy Wongsosimito the assistant coach who guided Estrella to the victory over RCA.

Estrella will be without the clubs two acquisitions from Venezuela, Reymond Jimenez and Juan Mavarez due to the fact both have accumulated three yellow cards. Estrella has young and talented players who can fill the roles of these two suspended players and give the naranjada fans an exciting game to watch.

Dakota on the other hand, is playing for its third consecutive week under the guidance of their new coach. Richard "Rido" Vermeulen is still looking for his first win after losing in his debut to second place Britania and drawing with Caravel. Richard would love to obtain his first win against his former club that he guided not to long ago to the Division di Honor finals.

Tonight we will see which club can prove that they can perform best when the pressure is on.

Dakota player to watch: Dwayne Alex Raven. He is the top scorer of Dakota this season with seven goals and since Richard took over he made sure that Dwayne Alex got his confidence back and he seems to be highly motivated.

Chelsea player to watch: Annuar Kock. He is the top scorer for Estrella with seven goals this season. After executing a text book play in the game against RCA out of a free kick for Francois "Pancho" Croes to score and give Estrella the win.

Trivia: Ikel Lopez is the only player to play in all the fifteen games of the season so far for Estrella. At the age of 33 he is still the commander and chief of Estrella on the field. He first played for Estrella in Division di Honor in 1997.

Stats: Their last meeting Division di Honor finished 3-0, with Annuar Kock scoring two goals.
