FRANCOIS "PANCHO" CROES KEEPS ESTRELLA'S PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE
John Gonzalez #9 scored at the 47 min. and Urvin Maduro #17 came of the bench to score the tying goal at the 52nd min. In extra time Caravel had a chance to win the game, but Shemuel Koolman; the goalkeeper for Dakota saved Urvin Maduro's chance and the match ended in a draw Caravel 2-2 Dakota. Britania moved to the second place position tied with La Fama but due to a better goal average is in the second place. Sebastian Montoya #17 scored for Britania in the 34th min. and Ulises Nunez #10 scored the go ahead goal at the 82nd min. For Nacional scored Banton Deffery #5 at the 72nd min. The final score was Britania 2-1 Nacional La Fama came out on Saturday playing an organized soccer and using the quick pace of Lodowica to their advantage. Rigmar Lodowica #6 scored twice in the first half for La Fama at the 15th and 17th min. In the second half we saw a completely different Riverplate than what we have seen in the first half, coach Rudy Dirksz made some adjustments that gave Riverplate an edge over La Fama. In the second half Riverplate got a handful of clear chances to score goals but unfortunately their attackers missed the target on several occasions. Bryan Quandt scored a consolation goal for Riverplate at the 90th min. The final score La Fama 2-1 Riverplate "Smiley" Milrose scored twice for Bubali against JTL in their 4-1 win to keep their playoff hopes alive. For Bubali scored Alex Ramirez #20 from the penalty spot at the 48th min, Mark "Smiley" Milrose #7 69 and 78th min and Tyrone Maria #9 at the 79th min. For JTL scored Luis Salinas at the 90th min. Final score JTL 1-4 Bubali. The final game of match-day 15 was between RCA and Estrella. Estrella needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, RCA on the other hand had lost only once all season. RCA is the defending champion and every-time RCA takes the field their fans expects them to win. Estrella came out determined to show their fans that the fourth spot is still in their grasp and will play at their best to make the playoffs. After just 8 minutes their head coach Niaks Rasmijn was sent off for arguing with referee Carlos Romney. Estrella as a team did not get distracted from this incident and continue to play good team soccer. At the 21st min. Marion Guitierez #4 scored the go ahead goal. In the second half RCA tied the game with a excellent header by Erik Santos #7 in the 72 min. With the score tied in extra time, Estrella got a free-kick after Annuar was fouled by an RCA defender. Instead of going for the goal, Annuar Kock slipped the ball pass the four man wall and Francois "Pancho" Croes latched on to Annuar's pass to slip the ball into the net in the 92nd minute. Pancho after missing two consecutive games for Estrella, came up with a huge goal that not only saves the day but also keeps the playoff hopes of the Naranjadas of Santa Cruz alive. |

ORANJESTAD- Dakota lead the entire first half with goals scored by David Puriel # 11 at the 16 min. and Dwanalex Raven # 10 at the 31st min. Caravel came out in the second half poised to even the score.
