ORANJESTAD- The colonial of Bees comes face to face with the Pride of Noord. Dakota vs Bubali is scheduled for today, Monday April 2nd, 2012 in Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium starting at 8:00 PM. In their previous meeting on October 16, 2011 they played to a scoreless draw. As the playoffs are getting closer, every point during these last 5 game stretch ways heavily on both teams.

This game was initially scheduled for March 3rd 2012 but due to an act of vandalism in Compleho Deportivo Frans Firgaroa it has been rescheduled for today April 2nd, 2012.

Dakota just last week made a coaching change, after mutually agreeing with Guillermo Guerra that a change at the helm of the Dakota would be for the best interest of the club. Richard “Rido” Vermeulen took over after coaching the youth ranks of Dakota for the past years. In his first game as the head coach of Dakota they lost to a superior Britania by the score of 3-1. The score did not reflect the way the players responded to the task given by Rido. The team surely was motivated and you could see that there is allot of talent in this young squad.

Bubali is coming of an impressive win over Caraval of 9-0. They are currently riding a four game winning streak with wins over Riverplate, La Fama, Nacional and Caravel. Gregory’s boys are surely and quietly adapting to his system and with Tyrone Maria finally coming into his groove again, they are eager to show why they are labeled as “The Pride of Noord.”

Both teams are in the playoff hunt, they are both fighting for the last and final spot for the playoffs. Bubali is currently fourth with 23 points, followed closely by Estrella with 21 points and with Nacional and Dakota tied in the sixth spot with 18 points each.

Bubali still has to face some tough teams in their last five games. Bubali has to face, Dakota, JTL, Britania, RCA and Estrella. Dakota on the other hand has to face Bubali, Caravel, Estrella Riverplate and La Fama. If you are a follower of Division Honor, you would realize that Bubali has the toughest schedule ahead from these two teams.

This game will surely have a playoff atmosphere and AVB will make sure that it gets the right attention. This game will be streamed on www.avbaruba.aw and the game will also be televised on iTV Canal 49 on Aruba’s local cable network.

The narrator for this game would be Carl Michael Bikker, and he would have a complete panel that has an ample knowledge of soccer to commentate and informed our viewers every little aspect of the local soccer.

Bubali has scored 25 goals in 13 games and have conceded 13 while Dakota has scored 16 and have conceded 20.

AVB extends an invitation to all local soccer fans to be on time today at Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium and watch for yourself that Aruba's soccer is on the rise.
